SECRET SANTA 29/01/2011 AT LAST
The Whimps Secret Santa was held on Saturday 29th January 2011, when before the prize taking,
Gerry referred to what a fantastic year 2010-2011 was.
There were holes in one for:- Ian Newlove - Peter Houston - Brooksie - Dave Sopp and Ian Ross.
We were the Roll up Kings with an astonishing number of points - well done to all who took part.
Colin Jones became Men's Captain.
Joe Doyle became Seniors Captain.
Brooksie set an all time record for consecutive wins and Tony Ward felt that this shoulds not go un-reWARDded, so a whip round was made and a momento to mark the ocassion was purchased, which was presented together with balance left over.
Prizes were then collected in descending order to the 16 players, followed by Patrick, (last years winner) presenting the Saturday Whimps Trophy to Dave Sopp (RU) on behalf of Clive Moulton who unfortunately was well enough to attend.
